I support Mike Huckabee for President

How about you?
Last week, in advance of Mike Huckabee's visit to Washington State, I called together a group of Christian leaders and key citizen activists to join me in endorsing the Presidential campaign of Mike Huckabee. I am happy to report, we were able to gain the support of 30 of these leaders in just a few short days prior to Mike Huckabee's arrival. Our official endorsement was announced at a press conference on Thursday, November 14. (Click here to review some of the local and national coverage of the event. Clarification: the "Positive Agenda" referenced in the articles and blogs should be "Positive Christian Agenda".)
While each person has their own personal reasons for making the endorsement, what we share in common is a sense that Mike Huckabee has a long history of sharing our essential values.
We have confidence that his values were not manufactured for a campaign but represent who he really is. In other words, his values are organic. I believe he's the real deal. That is certainly true for his views on the sanctity of life and of marriage which have long been concerns of the Christian community. I think he would make a good President. It is my firm belief that Mike Huckabee could be elected.
His
campaign has been surging up the polls for some time now and, according
to Monday's Rasmussen Reports,
Mike Huckabee is only one to two points down from the top tier Republican contenders. This is great news for those of us who would not only like to support
a Presidential candidate who lines up with our Judeo-Christian values, but also a candidate who is viable.
